Sold new in March, 1932 in Montrose, California at a cost of $3,650 (at the same time a Ford V8 sold for $465.) This is one of just 265 Model 506 KA Victoria Coupes on the 136" wheelbase built by Lincoln in 1932, and believed to be one of only 5 remaining today. This is a matching numbers car (engine and body #70325.)
Known history from new. The original owner drove this Lincoln sparingly for 15 years, parking it in 1947 with just 19,000 miles on the odometer. This dry, California car was rediscovered in the mid-1960s. After passing to two subsequent owners, it came to Oregon where it received a comprehensive, multi-year restoration to show level.
The solid, rust-free body was stripped to bare metal and painted in 1932 Lincoln "Royal Blue Dark" with black fenders. The panel fit and finish is excellent and shows beautifully today. Excellent wood framing. The doors hang with no sag and close solidly. New soft top insert was installed. All chrome was re-plated and continues to show a mirror finish. Correct upholstery, headliner and carpet were sourced, sewn and fitted. The interior is lovely, with no stains or damage. The genuine wood garnish moldings and trim are gorgeous. The metal dashboard is finished in a complimenting woodgraining with a deep gloss. The machined instrument panel contains a full set of gauges. Only the vintage King Sealey gas gauge is not operating at present. All other gauges work and register accurately. Dual smoked interior sun visors. All glass is excellent and door windows operate easily. Dual windshield wipers. Dual cowl vents. Dual sidemounted spare wheels with rear-view mirrors. Running board coverings replaced. Spacious, finished built-in trunk as well as a folding trunk rack to accomodate additional luggage when touring. Undercarriage is clean and rust-free.
The 384.8 cubic inch Lincoln V8 engine was fully rebuilt. 125 horsepower. Rebuilt 3-speed manual transmission with double clutch plate. This Lincoln starts easily, runs smoothly with no smoke or issues, shifts crisply and drives wonderfully. Excellent oil pressure. Runs cool. 4-wheel, power-assisted mechanical brakes stop smooth and straight. Comfortable on the road at speeds in the 55 mph range.

Following completion of the restoration this Lincoln was shown extensively. In 2000, with 19,100 miles on the odometer, it passed to another longtime Oregon collector and Classic Car Club member who added 12,000 miles to the car over the next 18 years, touring and showing it. This Lincoln has always proven to be reliable and has been excellently maintained following the restoration.
It was acquired by the current owner (a Classic Car Club and Lincoln Owners Club member, also in Oregon), in 2018. He continued showing the car regularly. In preparation for sale, it has just been mechanically and cosmetically refreshed and is ready to be shown and toured by a new owner. It wears newer correct Lester whitewall tires all-around.
Current odometer reading is 31,244 miles total from new.
There is little to add. If you are looking for a beautifully restored and lovingly maintained Lincoln KA in a rare and desirable body style, this is it. As the photos and video show, it appears near-new and certainly attracts attention wherever it goes. WE HAPPILY SELL TO BUYERS WORLDWIDE AND CAN ASSIST WITH SHIPPING ANYWHERE.
