About Us
A "CAR GUY" SINCE HE WAS A "CAR KID!"
David Charvet first became interested in antique automobiles after seeing the 1965 film, "The Great Race" - a fanciful spoof of the New York to Paris race of 1908. David's father, Frank, also owned his share of collector vehicles (in an era when they were just considered "old, used cars") and that interest passed to David at an early age. (Click on photos.) His first collector car, a 1940 Packard (which he drove over 30,000 miles in three years), proved to David the enjoyment found in these types of vehicles. In the ensuing years, he and his wife, Heather (also a long-time collector), have owned dozens of cars, from 1930-1960 vintage. When time came to part with certain cars, David noticed the need for his services in this area. With a 40-year background in the advertising field, David is unique in the automotive industry. He knows how to market your vehicle for maximum results. And he won't sell any car that he wouldn't want to own himself!

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer vintage car financing?
Financing can allow you to get a finer vintage car with payments to fit your budget. However, it is important to deal with a lender who understands vintage car values.
We recommend the following lenders:
WOODSIDE CREDIT
J.J. BEST BANQUE

Who is the Best insurance company?
While most any auto insurance company will cover a vintage car, we recommend insuring with a company that specializes in them. Why? Because vintage cars usually receive limited use, and are owned by careful drivers, specialty insurance companies can many times offer better rates than what you'll pay for your modern daily driver.
Also, it is important to insure for "agreed value" so should an accident occur, you are covered for the full current value of your car.
We recommend:
HAGERTY INSURANCE

Can I get a pre-purchase inspection?
Of course. We recommend either your personal inspection or through an inspector who specializes in vintage automobiles.
Can You Arrange Shipping?
While you may use any transporter of your choice, we recommend:
TOTAL CARE TRANSPORT
