Rebuilt 346 cubic inch 150 horsepower flathead V8 engine starts easily and idles so quietly you'll barely know its running.
Upgraded with 1951 GM Hydramatic automatic transmission for easy shifting.
Excellent power and acceleration. Good oil pressure. New wiring harness. All gauges work except gas gauge and temperature gauge not reading at present. Runs cool in all climates. 6 volt electrical system with a 12 volt power inverter at the cigarette lighter for operating modern accessories when on tour. Working Cadillac "fresh air" heater and defroster. Brakes stop smooth and straight. Newer radial wide whitewall tires hold the road well at all speeds. Comfortable at 60 mph on the highway.
This Cadillac has toured throughout the Pacific Northwest including most recently a 1,200 mile 8-day tour of Oregon and northern California. From sea-level at the Oregon coast up to the 7,000 foot level at Crater Lake Lodge, this Cadillac did not miss a beat and easily kept up with modern freeway traffic.
